20 Jul July 20, 2017 There are several supercars that have been proudly designed and made in the UAE, which you might have seen on the streets: Sandracer 500GT by Zarooq Motors It has a rumbling V8 motor, carbon fibre body, and it can go as fast as 220kmh. Devel Sixteen 5,000 horsepower. It comes equipped with a 12.3L V16 motor with an 81mm quad turbo. It looks like it came out of a Batman movie. Lykan Hypersport by W Motors Built by Dubai-based, Lebanese company W Motors. It’s being used by Abu Dhabi Police, it has made appearances in several video games, and it flew across two skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi for the Fast and Furious 7 film. It also has jewels in its headlights and gold stitching on the seats. Jannarelly Design 1 by Jannarelly Automotive The Jannarelly Design 1 harkens back to that era 60’s of grand tourers. The Design-1 features a bespoke tubular chassis made from steel and aluminum and a body that’s a mix of fiberglass and carbon fiber. Power comes from a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V-6 sourced from Nissan, and drive is to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual and limited-slip differential. Lykan Fenyr Supersport by W Motors Built by Dubai-based, Lebanese company W Motors. It weighs 1,200kg and can achieve speeds up to 400kmh. Like the Hypersport, the Fenyr is fast as it is luxurious.
