Earth Hour و worldwide movement organized بواسطة the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to encourage individuals, businesses و governments around the world to take accountability إلى their ecological footprint و engage in dialogue and resource exchange that provides real solutions to our environmental challenges. Participation in Earth Hour symbolises commitment إلى change beyond the hour. The event is held annually by turning off their non-essential lights for one hourيوم الجمعة الموافق: 8:30 to 9:30 pm towards the end of March. Information In 2004 WWF Australia met with advertising agency Leo Burnett Sydney to “discuss ideas for engaging Australians on the issue of climate change”. In this year was born the idea to turn off the light as a sign of knowledge of climate changing and commitment to the idea that need to do something with this.
